Vtg Molded, Footed, Hinged Trinket Box w Victorian Lovers

This is a vintage, possibly the 50s, hinged and footed trinket box made of a certain type of plastic. Online, others refer to it being celluloid, but although I am certainly not an expert, I think that this is made of some type of hard plastic used in the mid-20th century. It features a raised relief design, depicting a Victorian courting couple scene, along with intricate scrollwork. It features a mirror on the lid and a red velvety compartment insert. The ivory color has intensified with time. I am not sure why the lid relief looks darker than the rest of the box. It may be intentional because the rest of the box's color is consistent. The lid has some glue showing, typical with vintage items. I would say that it is in great vintage condition for its age.
