The hospital-grade Medela Symphony Breast Pump provides single or double-pumping options. The 2-Phase Expression Technology in the Symphony pump is designed to mimic a baby's nursing rhythm. Two separate membrane units allow for switching between single and double pumping by simply adding a second collection kit to the breast. This hospital-grade pump reduces pumping time through faster let-down and milk flow. In addition, the Symphony pump kit is protected from overflow by a specially designed membrane that is independent of the pumping mechanism.
