Vintage 1944 Foodie HC Book 1st Edition Signed Iles Brody Recipes Gourmet Meals

Vintage 1944 First Edition hardcover book entitled “On The Tip Of My Tongue” signed by author Iles Brody. Stated Second Printing Before Publication. September, 1944.

Condition is used. The dust jacket has extensive damage including staining, taping, tears and deterioration with missing material. The remaining paper from the spine and the back cover of the dust jacket have been previously placed under the front cover and taped down. A portion of the back end-flap remains loose in the black of the book.

Marchi’s was a famous Italian restaurant located on the east side of New York City on 31st and Second Avenue in Manhattan and was in business from the early 1930s-2020. This book is from the personal collection of the Marchi family. Interior pages are in good condition with some discoloration and one page having a folded corner.
