kutani chockate pot and three demitasse eggshell cups set

Antique “Rare” Kutani chocolate pot, one saucer and three eggshell demitasse cups. The borders are red/orange colors. There are approximately 125 recorded kutani patterns. This chocolate pot has a double handle. It’s in perfect condition no cracks no breaks no scratches. It is beautifully hand-painted decorated with six geisha girls, birds, flowers and Chochins. This pot has gold gilding. Chochins are Japanese lanterns. The Japanese traditional lanterns were made by gluing washi paper on bamboo. The chocolate pot chochins have hand painted birds fish and flowers on each lantern. Kutani means nine valleys. The chocolate pot measures 10 inches tall with a lid on. The pot measures 7 3/8 inches from the handle to the spout. The base measures 5 3/8 inches wide. The demitasse cups measure 3 inches tall 2 1/2 inches deep. The top of the cups measure 2 3/8 inches in diameter.
