Beautiful German Bathing Belle Beauty Powder Box/Dresser Jar Half Doll Lady Trinket Box. Vintage 1930s. Porcelain. Hand Painted. Rare Find. The underside crossed swords in underglaze blue identifies it as a German Meissen porcelain figurine. Meissen Porcelain was the first European hard-paste porcelain produced in the early Eighteenth Century (1710). The logo of the crossed swords introduced in 1720 was to protect its production. The mark of the crossed swords is reportedly one of the world's oldest trademarks in existence.
