1950s knit dress and sweater set by Lofties NOS New Old Stock Size M/L

Lovely cream colored knit dress and matching cardigan sweter, with beaded collars and cuffs. The dress has a ribbed section in the middle which gives a nice fitted shape and the same ribbing at the ends of the dolman cap sleeves. It slips over the end with no closures. It's very stretchy. The cardigan closes with ribbed fabric covered buttons. It has a beautiful beaded and rope trimmed embellishment which includes tear drop shaped faux pearls, rhinestones and golden seed pearls. The ribbing at the waist, cuffs, and button placket is the same as is found on the dress. There are slim shoulder pads attached. Made by Knitwear by Lawrence, with the tag name of Lofties. Thags are attached. Very good condition with the exception of one very small moth hole on the back of the dress - pictured. The yarn feels like a soft wool but could be a blend.
