**SOLD** Sterling & 12k Gold Filled Storyteller Cuff by Navajo Artist T.A. Begay

Vintage Storyteller Cuff by Navajo silversmith T.A. Begay in sterling silver and 12k Gold. The Navajo have a long connection to storytelling, as it was the way they communicated before they had any written language. Some folks may be familiar with the pictographs that have been discovered on cave walls and rock outcroppings. They are a fascinating look into the lives that they lived, all expressed in the drawings they created.
This fabulous find has been around for many many years, which I think makes it extra special. It was in pretty rough shape from not being cleaned for so long. But I polished it lovingly and watched it come to life. It is in good vintage condition, but has been well loved. It has got rustic character, but very solid.
