1930's HONUS WAGNER (Johannes Peter Wagner) authentic J W Cardigan Pirates. This sweater is very unique as its from the late 1930's.. and came directly from Johannes Wagner (J) (W) embroidery on sweater for his name. This cardigan is authentic and is 90 years old and very desirable to the most serious fan of baseball past time. The size is smaller as players back then were thinner in physique. It is super rare to find clothing from that time that is baseball related, especially major league related. There is also a name chain linked sewn inside reading a unknown name "M. SCHWARTZ" which was probably a baseball player of them days who ordered a cardigan from Hans Wagners very own shop in Pittsburgh!
