Antique 19th Century Reed & Barton 4 Footed Silver Plated Victorian Teapot

Up for sale we have an ornate etched Silver Plated 4 footed Teapot featuring a Cherub Angel. It is etched with floral and Angelic Cherub trim and medallions. Its truely a work of art. Featuring an intricate mixed foliage design that looks Mediterranean, this heavy metal teapot stands tall with a hinged lid adorned by a button-shaped finial. The handle incorporates stone spacers for heat protection.
It was made by Reed & Barton, a prominent silversmith manufacturer since 1824, and located in the city of Taunton, MA. The company is still privately owned by the family of Henry Reed.
It is marked on the bottom: MFG and Plated by Reed & Barton By Reed & Barton, 28145, Patent Applied For. Measures about 10" tall and 9" from end of handle to spout.
