David Harris founded Harris Potteries in 1978. Working as a full-time studio artist, he produced a wide range of both functional and nonfunctional ceramics. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and international venues.

This is a stunning 7.5" two-handled jug or vase featuring a turquoise glaze with gold accents or highlights. I estimate from what little I could find about him that this jug is one of his earlier pieces, probably in the mid to late 1970s. The white spot on the rim in one photo is actually in the glaze and isn't a chip.
