Child’s Antique Vintage Victorian Coat and matching hat

Amazing girls/ child’s Victorian / Edwardian winter coat and matching hat. Prob around 7-8years old.

The silk on this - although yeah it’s pretty far gone is not as bad as it looks and you can absolutely still draw on it for pattern and study before it falls apart. The best thing about this coat is that if you know how to replace the outer silk, the rest of it is almost pristine INCLUDING THE PADDED LINING!
It’s wearable which is nuts given the outer condition and I think if you want a smaller project to practise on this would be perfect.

Gorgeous Irish crochet and fur collar are in almost perfect condition too, I don’t see any breaks in the crochet. You could remove the collar to attach on another jacket.

The hat is the same, silk is completely wrecked but you can see enough of it to replace it authentically because the rest is actually perfectly fine.
