Hi Nicole, thanks for writing in! I'm sorry for any confusion with the loose cap- unfortunately, that's a deliberate switch that BTSO made to correct an issue where the tight caps were causing bottles to unscrew accidentally and leak/spill. Basically as they explained it to us, they had to make a choice that it was more important to be able to market the bottles as refillable than to have the caps fit tightly, so for better or worse, that's how they're going to be going forward.
