This is a rare find collectors teacup & saucer set in great condition, due to age on these it does have minor sign of wear. Look at pics for best description.
“Fruit Orchard' range, dating back to the 1930s and each hand-painted set signed by the artist, D. Jones.
It is sage green. Gold rims. Both teacup and saucer are in great to excellent vintage (almost antique) condition,
This particular teacup has a small foot and is stamped with what we believe to be 1734 on the base.
Measuring approx 5.5cm tall x 9.5cm diameter (teacup) and 14cm diameter (saucer).
Based on the backstamp we can accurately date these pieces to be produced sometime between 1934 and 1939.
