DESCRIPTION: Antique Creamer and Sugar Bowl in a pattern called Banded Portland (also called Virginia). They were made by by the US Glass company of Pittsburgh, PA around 1901. The creamer and sugar have ridges and columns that are flashed with gold. The band around the pieces is tiny diamond shaped sharp impressions. The set is oval with a wavy pattern around the top. They were used on fine tables in the early 20th century.Beautiful set. Over a century old.
