This figurine is 6.75" tall and it has no crazing, mars, repairs or chips; it is in Pristine/MINT Condition. The Missing Bee trademark (TMK 6) means it was produced Circa 1979 - 1993. This is a commemorative created in 1990 to celebrate the end of the Berlin Wall and is called the “Celebration of Freedom”. It has the HALT sign torn down and special lettering on the bottom where it is signed by the painter and numbered (3,155 of 20,000).

Sister Maria had a love of children, and a whimsical nature, sketching them in various situations. These adorable little boys are at the major crossroads between East and West. One boy has his knapsack on his shoulder and the other boy has a walking stick and his TUBA on his back. Both are looking to the bird to see which way to go!!

Master sculptor Arthur Moeller designed this piece in 1955 from one of Sister Maria’s drawings. f
