Pair of Framed Antique Silver Gelatin Portrait Photographs of Man and Woman.

Silver Gelatin photographs appear to be in excellent condition.

Photographs are triple matted w/oval opening.

Mats are two shades of tonal gold-ish taupe or darker champagne colored fabric and have a higher sheen with a silk-like appearance. Specific type of fabric is unknown.

Mats shift from lighter to darker appearance and color depending on the viewing angle due to the mat fabric's reflective nature.

Frame is a blackish brown with aged gold ribbing and detailing. Age of frame is unknown and I am uncertain if the frames are original to the photographs. Wear on frames is very minor but there are slight scratches and dings. Please see photos for details.

Photos don't do this set justice. They're very beautiful and show much better in person.
