The Dr. Martens Made in England line is produced at the original factory in Wollaston, England, using premium materials and the same construction methods as your most cherished pairs of vintage docs. Every pair is built with a traditional goodyear welt, then given a heat-sealing treatment that bonds the sole and uppers further, before finishing with reinforcing welt stitches. This run of 3989 Brogue Shoes is extra special, not just part of the made-in-England collection, they're a classic shoe, with extensive brogueing throughout. A limited run made from a combination of several deadstock leathers from C.F. Stead. The Charles F. Stead Tannery is based out of Leeds, England, with a company history stretching over 130 years, specializing in the highest quality suede, roughout, and sheepskin leathers in the world. The 3989 Brogues make use of a combo of the tannery's Cavalier, Denver Veg Tan, Repello Calf, & Buck Suede leathers, with different coloration and paneling on each shoe.
