Vintage Black Crystal Wine Glasses

There are 6 in each set, for a total of 18 beautiful black crystal glasses. 6 white wine, 6 red wine, 6 vintage champagne.

The wine glasses were produced in West Germany prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. I purchased the crystal in mid-1976 and unfortunately never really used it. Once or twice, I used a couple with dinner. They have lived mostly in my cabinet for 46 years.

I am unsure of the maker, but I do know that they were produced in West Germany, where some of the oldest and finest crystal was produced. You can feel the quality in the wine glasses when you feel the glass and hold it. The wine glasses look delicate but are actually quite sturdy and have solid stems, allowing for a very well-balanced wine glass. They will sing (so to speak) when the rims are rubbed just right. And light will make a purplish color come through the black crystal.

They are all in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or scratches.
