I Have been through the pieces and have not noticed any missing but have noticed multiples of certain ones. Set comes with instructions for the sets! I forget how many were bought, but the opened sets were only used once or twice and the majority were never unwrapped! We spent a little under $500 on these sets for my wife's nephew before he came down for the summer and he quickly became bored with it (not the assembling type).
