I genuinely believe these are THE best fencing shoes. These are the older-style fencing shoes where the soles are light, thin, and flexible. However, the treads don't last as long, so after complaints from parents, manufacturers made them with thick and heavy soles. I believe it was the wrong move as they sacrificed performance for longevity. These shoes may not last as long, but you will fence better. If you're serious about fencing, get these shoes or something similar such as the older D'Artagnan. They make a huge difference.

As Adidas got out of the fencing-shoe business a few years ago, I doubt you'll find a pair in this size anymore. The only size you will find these days is something like size 13.

When I saw these shoes for sale, I jumped on them. I was hoping my daughter could fence in them. Unfortunately, they were too big. If they were slightly smaller, I would have kept them and waited for her to grow into them.
