Signed first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett (William Morrow & Company, 1989). Signed and inscribed by author on first free endpaper. With illustrated “Part” pages. Beloved historical fiction novel set in Medieval England, telling of the building of a Gothic cathedral.

Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Tanning to outer edges of back cover and liner flaps. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is faintly split in a few gutters near beginning and end of book though spine is straight and binding remains firm on the whole. Some faint discoloration to outer edges of text block and waviness to top edge, likely caused by a small bit of humidity exposure. Otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked though tanned.
