This picture was taken in Orlando, Florida on October 24, 1981, while I was a photographer for Circus magazine. Unauthorized photography was banned, so I credit every picture I shot that day to a certified miracle.
After a muscular man in a “SECURITY” tee shirt confiscated my poorly hidden camera gear, a young female rent-a-cop, who was told to check my camera with Lost and Found, gave my camera back to me.
This picture appears in my book, “ROCK & ROLL: Concert and Backstage Photographs from the 1970s and 1980s.” It is also in permanent collection of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It arrives ready to put on your wall.
