This stunning mid century hand turned Burl Wood Ball is from an Acacia tree. It’s in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The wood is charming, dense and heavy. Burl Wood has been used for hundreds of years to make art bowls and vases. It takes a master craftsmen to make something out of it because its density. Having the ability to bring out the beauty in the wood is true art in itself. This piece had to have been made by a master craftsman however we have not been able to find a signature on it.
