Absolutely stunning handmade terracotta pottery thrown vase in dark, medium and light brown colors with geometric shaped hand etched patterns on it. This vase is very similar to those that are made and used by the local tribes in Peru, but cannot say with certainty the exact origin. There is no makers mark or artist signature either. Believed to be from the 1970's but could be older. The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or tears. There is several scuff marks throughout, other wear marks, and a few darker spots in the coloring, so please don't expect this to be a production made item. These are old handmade pottery, so even the coloring of browns slightly goes from light to dark throughout, giving it a very unique look and feel. This is such a stunning, unique and rare piece.
