Christian Dior The Suit Vintage Wool Plaid Skirt Suit--Altered, Fits Like Petite

*Not officially petite but altered to fit like it. See measurements. For ref, my mom (orig owner) is ~5' 2" and under 100 lbs.*

Vintage from 80s, bought new. Definitely authentic because for designer my mom only shopped at department stores. May be from B. Altman bc she worked next door and went often.

Prob pretty unique now. Glen check plaid: dark blue with black lines. Hard to capture color in photos, but it's a medium-dark blue with a little purple. Not quite blue-violet. Blue is light enough to stand out; not as dark as navy. Cropped jacket, padded shoulders. Tailored. Roomy cut, but waist is more fitted. 2 shallow pockets at front.

Midi skirt with double-knife pleats (2 at each fold). Banded waist. Side zip (not hidden) w/ button.

EUC overall. No holes/stains. Only flaws I found: scuffed/marked buttons; slub-like spots (minimal; prob natural); small spot of fraying at right underarm seam; and loose threads by skirt zipper.
