This dater can be used "as is" by keeping the month and day but substituting the year (since it is no longer current) with any word that is on the band by turning the selectable roller wheel to "PAID" or "RECV'D" or "ANS'D" or "ENT'D" or "A.M." or "P.M.," etc. Or, update the band with current year plus six years into the future.
