This book has been reduced considerably. If you want to offer a reasonable price I will consider it, but NO MORE reductions in price for"likes". It has already been reduced over $100. Do a search yourself and see the value of it.

Written by Fannie Merritt Farmer. First Edition was in 1896. This edition was printed during the Great War of 1914 also known as World War 1 - WW1. It was only a short time to WW11 and Hitler. There are quite a few references to wartime recipes and supporting the troops, even in the commercial ads on the last 36 pages. This book was used by a housewife during that war.

This book is expensive. Original copies are rare. The spine is intact but 2 pages in, the paper is separated. (See front and back photos) There is normal wear on the edges and corners but no major damage. No notes on the pages. I found one for $300 but it was in really bad shape. That is an example of what it is worth.
