Antique T&V Limoges Gold Shell Oyster Plate, Tressemann and Vogt, Grandmillennial Coastal.
It's a beautiful white porcelain plate with five wells for oysters and a center sauce/lemon well. The oyster wells are shell-shaped, creating a lovely scalloped rim and an interesting texture in the porcelain. There's a sea foliage motif that reminds me so much of cyanotype art, which is so cool. The foliage appears to have been printed in a lovely sage green, with gold layered on top. The sauce well is surrounded by gold seaweed, and the entire plate has a gold gilt rim. The effect is so shiny and sparkly—such a gem. The plate is in reasonably good condition; however, there are two areas with some chips, as shown in the last two photos.
