This is a beautiful antique Victorian photo album with a decorative green celluloid cover featuring a portrait of a lady surrounded by florals. The back cover is covered in original velvet floral fabric, showing age wear consistent with its age. Inside, the album still contains original cabinet card and portrait photographs of women and children dressed in turn-of-the-century clothing. The patent dates on the inside read Dec. 27, 1895 and Mar. 22, 1898, confirming its late 19th century production. The clasp is partially intact, the outside cover is missing parts and the spine shows wear, but the overall piece is a rare and charming survivor from the Victorian era. This is both a decorative collectible and a family history piece.
