From the famous Paul Eakins' 90s Gay Village Indian Trading Post in Sikeston, MO.

Item is a material made of mixed wood shavings and resin with other bindings for strength. The gooey pulp was then injected into compression molds made from original carvings. This formula was known as Syroco Wood.

Overall very nice vintage condition. Minimal wear to finish - appropriate for age. Working thermometer.
