Orthoceras, meaning "straight horn," refers to the Nautiloids that navigated ancient seas swimming like torpedoes with their long, cone-shaped shells. Originating from Morocco, these unique black and white specimens are frequently unearthed in slabs abundant with fossil Orthoceras shells. This extinct genus of Cephalopod boasts a long, straight, conical shell with numerous chambers separated by transverse septa in its interior.
