Interesting RARE Antique Early 20th Century 1917 Bronze Clad 'Darwin Like' Monkey/Man Scholar Bookends. Each are covered with a bronze clad finish and red & black paint. They both wear a scholars' cap and bifocals, kneeling on their knees while holding two books. They are heavy weighing over 4 lbs each. About 7" high 4.5" long and 3.5" wide. They have a little bit of wear as shown in the pictures provided. Plz inspect photos for best accurate description.


Unsure if these were made by Marion Bronze Company, but I did find similar ones by them in my search. Makers mark on the bottom side as shown in two of the photos. Plz reach out with any questions you might have. Will consider all reasonable offers.
