This antique French gold metal and glass jewelry box/casket is framed with beautiful glass panels and supported by four delicate paw style feet. Most of them date 1800s, though they were made up through about 1910 in this manner, too. The gilt gold metal of the box is bright and shiny and the hinge of the beveled glass lid is in working condition. There is textiles on the interior. This vintage jewelry casket is in good condition overall with typical age related wear. Metal internal base lifts out.
