This is an official issue item adopted by the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy.
Although the stamp is faint in some places, it is an official issue item from 1951.
60% wool, 40% cotton
It is for the M-51 parka, but can also be used with the M-65 parka.

When used as a liner, there are buttonholes on both sides of the front.
One side is pile fabric, and it is said that the correct way to attach it to the parka is to have the pile fabric facing outwards.
