The fruit of the Yuhebao lychee is round and slightly heart-shaped, with a red, thick outer skin that is resistant to cracking and suitable for storage and transportation. The flesh is milky white, semi-transparent, dry, and clean to the touch, with thick, firm meat. It has a crisp texture, sweet taste, slight fragrance, and excellent flavor. The fruit is large, with thick flesh and a small seed, weighing 25-34 grams per fruit, with an edible rate of 73.7%. The flesh is rich in nutrients, with a well-balanced sugar-to-acid ratio. The soluble solid content ranges from 18.4% to 20%, with a total sugar content of 16.4%, including 12.46% reducing sugars, and 0.07% to 0.1% citric acid. Each 100 grams contains 50.2 milligrams of vitamin C, with a solid-to-acid ratio of 159.2:1, making it a top-quality lychee variety in Lingnan.
