1959 - 1963 Catalina Parlor Guitar (by Kay)

Summary: This is a vintage Kay Acoustic guitar with a painted musical note on the top as the pickguard. This instrument has a model # that reads L 4113 and there are no other markings on the inside. This instrument has just been restrung with a fresh set of 12’s and it sounds pretty good. The action isn’t as low as a high-end Taylor, but it is playable, and it does have a vintage classic sound.

Body: Small bodied acoustic guitar with lots of flame on the wood, painted white binding and a musical note painted on as the pickguard.

Neck: Big chunky neck with the original Kay logo in very good shape. This guitar has 18 frets, 1 11/16” nut width, 24.25” scale length, black block inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: No electronics, original Kay branded trapeze tailpiece, vintage 3-in-line tuning keys.
