This nostalgic piece is definitely one to add to the collection. This is a rare, antique, primitive, tin, cricket, clicker, noisemaker toy. There is no mark, but looks European, perhaps German. It is an unpainted, metal clicker measuring .75 x 2 inches in size. It is an Egyptian-style beetle my guess would be probably pre-World War and a precursor to the lithograph type made later and still today. He is in rust free, great condition. still works perfectly and is ready to make some noise!! If you are a collector of clickers, you won’t find another out there like this guy. This item would be considered a choking hazard and not appropriate for a child under 5 years of age.
