2 doll set from Showa Era--possibly 1950's decade because found in old estate sale home with many items from the 1950's.

12 inches and 10 inches. Solid wood.

Heads are well attached and since they are tall they make great vintage earthquake detectors by tipping over and making a lot of noise to alert of an earthquake--common in Japan.

Excellent vintage Japanese décor.

Showa Era began in 1926. So might have been made before the 1950's.

Good condition. Looks better with age.
