Here is a vintage pocket games set from the 1940s. It has a regular-sized deck of cards (with its tax stamp), a Put and Take dice game with chips (these could also be used for Poker), two Bakelite dice, and miniature Cribbage and Checkers sets. There is a Gin Rummy score pad and instructions for Gin Rummy and Cribbage. There is an Army Air Corp card with one person's name printed on it and then another person's rank and name written in. Everything is in a cloth-covered box measuring about 7.75 x 4.75 x 2 inches.

The box has rubbing at the corners, and the papers have yellowed. I don't think the cards were ever used, but the cellophane around them is falling apart. There is only one Joker. One of the checkers (there are 14 of each color) has lost its peg.
