Ah, the 1997 Stanley Cup! What a year for hockey! The Detroit Red Wings were up against the Philadelphia Flyers in the finals. There were some legendary players on both teams. For the Red Wings, we had Steve Yzerman, Sergei Fedorov, and Brendan Shanahan, to name a few. The Flyers had some great players too, including Eric Lindros, John LeClair, and Ron Hextall. The Red Wings ended up taking the cup in four games, with Mike Vernon taking home the Conn Smythe Trophy for MVP. There were some amazing moments in that series, like Yzerman's game-winning goal in Game 3 and Darren McCarty's game-winning goal in Game 4
