Amazing great shape before 1955 “CRESSI Mod. RONDINE Brevettata EXTRA” flippers. Size 8 to 10. 18.5” long, 7.5” wide at widest part near end of fin. Weigh 2 7/8 lbs. They don’t float (in the 1960’s CRESSI created floating models). No patent number or patent pending inscription. This model Bevettata was made before the alliance with American “Healthways” (in 1955), only then did CRESSI have US patent inscriptions. This is a First Edition CRISSI worldwide “flipper.” It was revolutionary for closed foot pocket, one piece construction, upper opening for toes, strong side reinforcement, fin blade angled from the foot for competitive torque. “GENOVA MADE IN ITALY” inscription is another sign that this was made before 1955. Probably this was made in 1953 or 1954. Don’t know what “EXTRA” prominently stamped on the bottom of these fins means. If you know, message us please. Slight scuffs on bottom at heal and mid-fin. Hardly used. Great for display. But very usable. Conversation piece. Rare.
