1949 Parker 51 Demi Aerometric, Dove Gray, 14k -F- Nib, Lustraloy Cap

This 1949 Parker 51 Demi Aerometric fountain pen in the Dove Gray colorway is in very good condition for a pen of this vintage.

Condition:

Overall: Very Good condition
Cap: No scratches, gouges, nicks, or cracks. The cap is shiny, and the chrome clip is bright and shiny. There is no brassing or discoloration on the cap or clip.
Barrel: Microfine, hairline scratches from age and use. No deep scratches, gouges, nicks or cracks. Barrel imprint is good.
Hood, nib, and feed: In very good condition. 
Clutch ring: Chrome, very bright and shiny.
Aerometric filler: I replaced the original Pli-glass sac, and I inked and used the pen for a few months on the one fill. I have since flushed the filler thoroughly with clean water and air-dried.
The entire pen has been cleaned and polished with a jeweler's cloth.
