First edition, first printing hardcover copy of The New Image Makers: Soviet Propaganda & Disinformation Today by Ladislav Bittman (Pergamon-Brassey’s, 1988). Very rare politics / sociology book examining the history and the state of the Russian / Soviet propaganda machine. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including some chipping, creases and small tears, especially to top edge of spine. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Several pages near beginning of book faintly creased and with small bumped/torn area near middle of fore edge. Foxing to top outer edge of text block. Otherwise all pages clean and unmarked.
