Selling these Vintage 60's Detroit Overall HBT Jumpsuit Workwear Coveralls MI Fire Department. 100% Cotton. Grand Rapids Charter Township Fire Department patch. Tag has RN 27108, which traces back to the Detroit Overall Manufacturing Co, and also dates it to approximately 1964. Made of 100% Cotton Herringbone Twill HBT material. As found, good overall condition, no holes or repairs. Some soiling throughout, could use a good soak in oxyclean, will leave that to the future owner. Has a nice look to them. Gripper brand snaps. Size 46. 31" inseam. Waist measures 21" flat across.

History: Belonged to Joseph J Kleynenberg (1929 Grand Rapids, MI - 8 Oct 2005 Belmont, MI) From 1957 to 1980 he was a full-time Chief Engineer at the Grand Rapids Fire Department on Engine # 15 and continued to work there both as a volunteer and full-time from 1980 to 1992 and also retired from Kroger Company. Joseph was a retired member of Teamster Local #406. His first initial and last name are in the collar.
