Pattern Description:
This popular work features a vibrant depiction of a golden "Treasure Ship" and "Mount Fuji" in 18 different colors against a black background. The "Hawaiian Surf" brand was started in 1934 by Kenichi Tanaka, a Japanese-Hawaiian, with his Tanaka Sports Wear Shop. After the war, it became Pacific Sports Wear Co., and was launched as its original brand, releasing numerous designs including vibrant tropical border prints, oriental prints, and back panel prints. It is a well-known brand.
