▪️50s GAYLORD Vintage Open Collar Gabardine Shirt, Bordeaux Gabardine

This is a rare vintage shirt from around the 1950s, based on its details and design.

【Size/Color】 - S -
Length (from collar): 65cm
Shoulder width (from shoulder seam to seam): 39cm
Width (measured around the armpits): 48cm
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 60cm
Sleeve length (from center of neck to cuff): 80cm

I (165cm/53kg, slim build) could wear it with a good fit, and the sleeves reached my wrists.
Depending on your preference and how you wear it, it's recommended for people around ~165cm tall!!!

The color is a deep burgundy, and the contrast with the pink rayon lining is wonderful.
The hanging image appears quite red.

【Condition】
As shown in the images, there are noticeable areas on the right pocket edge (image ①), right shoulder (②), and under the right arm (③), and there are other minor flaws that are not easily noticeable.

The neck and cuffs, which are prone to damage, are in good condition.
The fabric is likely tightly woven, making it less susceptible to moth damage, and considering it's a wool material, it's in very good condition!

【Remarks】
A rare compact size that fits smaller people perfectly!

There are tucks under the pockets, and it's a men's shirt with a left-front closure. This detail is often seen in the 1940s, and the collar shape also flares outwards, reminiscent of the 40s.

(The top button is missing, and the loop is a cute, distorted shape that can't hold a button)

Although it's a boxy silhouette, it's also vertically long, making it easy to wear regardless of trends!
(50s shirts often have a wider and shorter silhouette)

The collar has decorative stitching, and the buttons are cute, possibly Bakelite-like, adding a touch of elegance to the simple design.

The material is wool gabardine.
I usually dislike the itchiness of wool, but this one is not a problem at all.
