1965 Seiko Seikomatic Weekdater Automatic Watch

This classic Seiko watch features a cal. 6206b automatic movement. It has a date display at 3 and a full day display between the pinion and 6 (black weekdays, blue Saturday and red Sunday). There is a quick set for the date; the day is set by turning the hands forward to the proper day and then setting the date and time. Lovely silver dial, applied markers, and dauphine hands. 37mm stainless steel case with 19mm lugs. Note the embossed caseback featuring the dolphin emblem which Seiko used on water resistant watches of this era. The acrylic crystal appears to be original. It has minor signs of wear as well as a small chip or crack at 6. The damage to the crystal doesn't go all the way through, so it doesn't let dust or moisture into the dial. This watch was fully serviced in 2022. It is running and keeping time well for a vintage watch. The watch ships on a dark blue leather strap. Ref. 6206-8990.
