UPDATE: Joiner now has a motor (1/4hp Delta motor from the same time period and a homebuilt stand. All this makes for a fantastic running joiner thar hums beautifully when on. Solid steel 4" joiner. Need more room. SHIPPING MIGHT BE POSSIBLE CONTACT ME. Beautful tool that you couldn't buy today for any price. Copy of the original manual and specs. Heavy as hell.
You couldn't duplicate this item for $1000 dollars. This is truely how all tools should be made. Im not sure how many of these are still around, but i know it's an antique that runs like it's new. Very, very accurate. I have taken this apart right down to each screw and single part. Everything was cleaned and checked against original specs. Every part was painted with 3 coats, and bearings were changed with new ones. This is what I enjoy doing, so time was not a concern, only that it was better than new and had the amazing accuracy of the original tool. I hate to let it go, but I have other items needing the same attention.
