Genuine Bitossi Rimini Blue MCM Ashtray w/ ITALY Stamp and Model Mark

This mid-century modern beautiful vintage piece, complete with classic Bitossi marks, dates to around the late 1960s. With classic Bitossi patterns, the tell tale indicators of authenticity are present in this piece. The bottom has the concave shape of genuine Bitossi pottery and the raw unglazed sections are rough the way that Bitossi pottery should be. The markings on the bottom have ITALY and the handwritten model number, common to many pieces made after the 1950s. And the overall piece shows the imperfections found in a handmade studio piece like uneven glazing, color variance, places where the glaze missed crevasses and places where the work is not smooth.
