Just cleaned and had sides of BK-7 prisms blackened so as to increase brightness and contrast. And to also compensate, somewhat, for the myriad cleaning marks on all lenses to include light scuffs on the objectives. They DO NOT seem to affect views to any degree! See last two pics of tree tops some 300 yds. away. Now bright and crisp as well as VERY powerful.

This is a RARE German made bino most likely by HENSOLDT and from the 1960s, based on certain styling cues. It is really solid and heavier than similar Japanese glass made in the same era. With practice, it gets easier to offhand. We have a suitable tripod adapter for sale, if interested. Great for flora and fauna as well as Astronomy!

No case, but we did add a set of up-cycled ocular lens caps.
